ideabond aluminum honeycomb panel is new building and decoration material which was originally  used in aviation. it is made from high quality aluminum alloy (3030h24) or high manganese aluminum alloy (505aah14) with thickness of 0.8~1.5mm. the surface finish is fluoride carbon coating or color painting. it has advantages of preventing the panel from being scratched, discolored and corroded by acid rain comparing with pvdf panels. the core is hexagon aluminum (3030) honeycomb with thickness of 0.04-0.06mm and length of side 5-6mm. the production technology of roll-in mould shaping and automatic edge folding makes the panels are seamless when they are installed.

with the special structure, it also has following advantages:

1, little weight, high intensity, stable structure and good wind resistance

because of these advantages, the aluminum honeycomb panel is widely and preferably used for building outdoor decoration. the weight of aluminum honeycomb panel is only 1/5 of the aluminum panel and 1/10 of steel panel at the same hardness. the thickness of aluminum honeycomb panel is 15mm and top aluminum plate is 1.0mm, bottom aluminum plate is 0.8mm. total weight of aluminum honeycomb panel is only 6kg each square meter. the special structure of aluminum honeycomb cores are contained in the panel, the panel has much better wind resistance and more stable shape.

2, good functions of sound and heat isolation, fire resistance and anti-shock.
the honeycomb structure has very good function of preventing air from flowing among combs, this can stop heat and sound to come out, this is why the aluminum honeycomb panel has good sound and heat isolation. its thermal conductivityis 150-3500kj/㎡, so it is also a very good energy-saving material.
